About Nuts For Jesus

Thirty to eighty people, including elderly, homeless, families and singles, are served a warm dinner twice weekly in our "Manna" meal program. This program was developed in association with Sweet Home Emergency Ministries. Today volunteers from several churches regularly help in the Sweet Home UMC kitchen to serve the meal. The meals require 7 to 10 workers 2 to 5 hours to complete the effort.

"Manna" has operated steadily for 6 years reaching an ever widening community of participants. We have added a garden as part of our program. In 2009 over 800 lbs. of produce was served or preserved.
